So, here is DFW it is pretty chilly lately which is totally fine by me because I LOVE the cold weather! Lorelai Gilmore and I (any Gilmore Fans in the house?!) have the same opinion when it comes to cold, and snow!
So to do Lorelai proud I’m going to tell you some of my favorite winter accessories! First off I love a good coat. I have a lot of coats, jackets, pullovers, sweatshirts, etc. because I feel like you can never have too many options for your outer layer. My favorite coat is this Black Rivet coat I picked up a few years back. It’s warm but not too heavy and the perfect pop of color!
If I’m looking for something heavier I normally go with my L.L. Bean coat that I wore when I lived in NYC (pictured below). It’s all black so it goes with everything and very warm. It also adjusts on the inside so it’s flattering.
I also love a good scarf! I’ve really gotten into blanket scarves lately much like the one featured in my Holiday Gift Guide post from Dapper Bear Clothiers. But really any scarf will do. I’m really into sherpa right now so a good sherpa scarf will probably be added to my collection soon.
Headwear is very important to me, I really like to keep my ears covered because even as an adult I’m prone to ear infections. The wrap in the pictures above and the white one below my Grandmother actually made for me, along with most of the ones that I own. But if I’m not rocking one of those I’ve probably got on a slouchy beanie.
