How I Organized Our Pantry

Has anyone else watched Tidying Up on Netflix?! If you haven’t you need to drop what you’re doing and watch it right now! It has inspired me to organize our home this year. I started with something small, our pantry.

Organizing our pantry was something I’d wanted to do for a while but I didn’t know where to start. When I finally got serious about it I realized it only took a few simple tools to get our pantry both organized and beautiful!

Baskets: Like I said, I had been wanting to organize our pantry for a while. I knew I wanted to incorporate baskets but I hadn’t found the right ones. I found these beauties at Daiso for almost nothing! If this is something you want to do in your home I highly suggest finding a Daiso near you. They’re very budget friendly and have very cute stuff.

Shelves: I also picked up the shelf at Daiso and I’ve used them all over the house. They are sturdy and they add so much space. You can literally double your space and it’s great for organizing smaller items.

Canisters/Containers: I used three different types of canisters/containers for our pantry; cereal containers, can containers and acrylic canisters. I love how uniform they make everything look and by using clear containers we can see exactly what’s in there and when we’re low or out of something. I found all of these on Amazon.

Lazy Susan: This has just as much function as it does aesthetic. I love being able to really utilize a corner without things just getting shoved to the back. These smaller lazy Susan’s are the perfect size for our pantry and work really well. This one comes from Target.

I love to look at our pantry now and I love how easy it is to find everything. It makes me so happy to see how neat everything is. I can’t wait to get the rest of the house tidied up!
