Hello lovelies! If you kept on Instagram this past weekend you saw that I attended a bachelorette party for one of my college besties – Morgan! We had a great group of ladies for this very eventful weekend!
There are two very important topics I want to cover in this post – clothes and wine! Two of my favorite things.
We’ll start with clothes. I’m going to share two very important pieces I took on this weekend getaway. First is this jumpsuit that I want to wear everyday of my life now! It was comfortable and perfect for going out to dinner on Friday night. It can be dressy or pretty casual depending on your accessories. I paired it with a pair of nude heels for dinner but I could’ve just as easily worn flats. The vertical stripes are very flattering and actually make you appear taller. I’m wearing a petite medium for reference.

The other must have for this weekend was a great sweater! It was a little chilly and rainy this weekend in Fredericksburg so this was a must! This sweater I found is perfect for this Texas “fall” that we have. It keeps you pretty warm but you won’t be sweating in it in the afternoon. I paired it with a light wash Levi’s jean and combat boots. I’m wearing a large for reference but I tend to size up in sweaters.

Now on to the fun stuff – wine! If you don’t know anything about Fredericksburg it is an old German town that is known for it’s wineries and vineyards. On Saturday we went to three different wine tastings around Fredericksburg. Absolute Charm Wine Tours was the company we used and they setup your tastings and transportation for you. It was excellent – I cannot recommend them enough! It’s a little on the pricey side but for the ease and peace of mind it was definitely worth it! Ask for Barry!
Hilmy Cellars – This was our first stop and I feel like I definitely learned the most at this one. Our guide really took the time to explain each wine and answered all of our questions.
Signor Vineyards – This was our second stop and my absolute favorite place we visited! The scenery is beautiful and we did our tasting outside around a table so it was a much more social experience. I could’ve stayed there all day.
Lost Draw Cellars – This was our last stop and we had a lot of fun here! It was a very laid back environment and they had our tasting in a separate room so we didn’t have to worry about disturbing anyone.
So, if you haven’t visited Fredericksburg, TX you definitely need to! There is also a very cute downtown area that has a lot of shopping and restaurants. It is a great girls trip weekend getaway or a perfect bachelorette party destination!
